Contemporary Latin American Art Latin American and Contemporary Art: Curatorship and Collection was the theme of the debate that took place at IEA on September 5, parallel to the 30th São Paulo Bienal exhibition.
At the event, Brazilian and foreign experts discussed a range of issues related to contemporary Latin American art, such as geopolitics, curatorship, art market, institutionality, circulation and displacement, contexts and actions. The coordinator was Martin Grossman, director of IEA and curator-coordinator of the Fórum Permanente. The debate was promoted by IEA, Centro Cultural de España in São Paulo (CCE-SP), and the Fórum Permanente.
